The Westside Illustrators is a dynamic and talented group of artists formed under the auspices of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators-Los Angeles chapter. Our purpose is to build a community of local illustrators all working toward the same goal: initial and continuing success as children's book illustrators.
Storytellers runs March 7 through April 29, 2005 at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library, 3301 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, California 90503. The library is located in the Torrance Civic Center, near the intersection of Madrona Avenue and Torrance Boulevard. Library hours are Monday throughThursday 10-9; Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-5:30. Free parking is available in the rear of the library. You'll find the exhibit at the First Floor Level on the perimeter walls of the main library space. A display case to the left directly inside the entrance features information about the exhibitors and the SCBWI-LA.
